Hi;
I am currently trying to decide on my best approach to my home theatre. I want to go with Axiom speakers, but am undecided as to which models.
My room is about 18'X15"( open to dining/kitchen at one end though) and I was thinking either the 50Ti's for fronts with the VP-150 for a centre. Or would it be better to go with the 60Ti's and go lower on the centre with the VP-100? The costs are not really much different, and space for the fronts is an issue. Is the VP-150 a better match for the 50Ti's or the 60Ti's? So...would you go with smaller fronts, and a larger centre; or...larger fronts and a slightly smaller centre, with the prices only slightly different?Is there a big difference between the vp-100 and the 150?
Due to my limited budget I will use my existing towers( older 9 year speakers) for rears for now upgrade later to QS-4 or 8's, and also consider a sub EP-175 or would I be better with the EP-350? Would this size( EP-350) of subwoofer be a little large for my room?

Thanks in advance..and love this forum!!

This is an interesting decision. We may need some more information to give you a proper response. For the front and center combination, do you listen to mainly music or mainly movies? For the sub-woofer power, how much power do you have for the rest of channels in your system?

Hi thanks for the reply...

I mostly watch movies but do like to put in the odd cd from time to time. movies 80% music 20%
I am going to be getting the Denon 3802 receiver so I should have loads of power??

Thanks again...

Given that the system is mainly for movies, I would suggest the M50s with the VP150. For the same reason you should probably look at going to the EP350 for the sub, especially with your room being an open concept to the other rooms. For later using the QS8s for effects channels will really give you an excellent home theatre system all around.
