Speaker Placement - 12/16/03 07:45 PM
Anyone care to share their opinion on this:
I am getting ready to take the plunge for some new speakers and HT receiver (Yam 2400, Denon 3803).
I am leaning towards trying the M22ti, QS8, VP150 route, but I have an issue with the M22's that I was hoping to get some input on.
My fronts (and center) have to be housed in the top three sections of a built in cabinet. Each compartment is 25"x25"x31" (HxWxD). I am concerned about placing the speakers in there (but due to the WAF, I do not have an option of using floors, or mounting them on the walls).
I know that these are ported speakers, would lining the interior of the cabinet with polyfill or some other material help or hurt?
Is there anything I can do to reduce the effects of having to place them in these cabinets?
