I've decided to give Axiom a try and have started with a pair of M2is and a VP150. If they do it for me, I'm going to order another set of M2is (for surround duty along with the original set) and either an M80 or M60. Brent at Axiom thinks that the 80 would be fine in my 18 x 16 x 10 foot room, but I'm bothered by lots of posts and reviews that say the 80 is tough to integrate into the room. Any thoughts?

BTW, I've decided to do it piecemeal, just in case I need to send them back. It'll be a lot cheaper to send 3 speakers (as opposed to 7) back.

Thanks for any insight. BTW, does Axiom ship pretty quickly?
When I ordered my VP150 I had it the very next day. It usually takes 2-3 days though.
the axioms probbly would ge great in your room. i have one slightly smaller and they work.

They are hard to find a good placement though! ive spent a few hours in the last couple weeks playing with different oprions, ending up with them toed in so that i can just see like 1/2 inch of the inside if the speaker. A little more toed out, wider soundstage but not as strong and focused imaging, which i love.

They are tricky though!
You should get them in 2 days from order. You should get a tracking number close to the same day.

What receiver are you running them with? I purchased a setup recently and was curious to your logic on using the M2's for rears as opposed to the QS8's?

Just curious!
I'm running a Lexicon MC12 and Marantz MA6100 monoblocks for the rears. I don't have bare walls to the sides so I need to put them in open bookcases.

Just heard from Axiom. They're out of 2's, so the earliest I'll see them is next Friday. UGH.
