I'm trying to locate the best pricing in the Toronto to St.Catherines area. Has anyone done any pricing research that I could benefit from? If so, could you send the retailers name and phone number?

I'm specifically looking for: VP100, QS-4, & EP125

Thanks in advance!

I was visiting the Colour Box in Burlington recently, and they seemed to have good pricing. They had regular (non Factory outlet) M40's for below FO prices. There number is located in the retailers link on the Axiom homepage.

Check Replay Electronics on the Queensway (Toronto)
They carry blems but may/will order regulars for you if you ask.

are you just looking for the best price in your area, or do you want the best price anywhere?

...and I quote from the original post:

I'm only looking for pricing in the area indicated, unless there's the ability to purchase online

I was in the Colour Box last Saturday and the service was horrible!! I stood around alternating glances between the cash area and an M3 set up. Not 1..2....or even 3 people asked if I had any questions... but 6 guys standing around totally engroused in their own conversations. What was even more surprising was not all the sales reps were high school kids, but what looked like middle aged men. I excpected much more. What a waste of a trip from Brampton. I won't be purchasing anything from them!!
I spoke with the Radio Shack in Collingwood today and they offered me M40's at $225 a piece..not bad.

You know, on my first (and only) visit to them, I found them unwilling to really help. They allowed me to play music I had specifically chosen and brought, but did not want to assemble pieces I wanted to hear. I did not like the system they had setup, so I asked to hear a different amp and source. No deal. The sales rep. also seemed more interested in trying to sell me the clearout sales of Rotel amps and NHT speakers. He was not engaged in showing me how good pieces can sound.

I know they are more of a mass market, box type store. But I would not seriously shop for equipment there. Did you notice how it looked like they just moved in? They actually moved in months ago, and the store still looks bad.

Interesting - I had the same horrible experience at the Color Box as well.
