Well not a good day. Have had my m80ti`s for about a month now.When i turned on the receiver today i noticed a strange crackleing sound coming from my right speaker,at first i thought it was the cd i was playing at the time. Upon closer ispection noticed it was coming from the top tweeter.i guess i`ll have to get a hold of axiom`s service department to see if they want me to ship the speaker out or what they want me to do.I have maybe a total of 20 hours on these speakers and they have not been driven hard. do not get me wrong, i love these speakers. Axiom makes one of the best sounding speakers going for the money. They totally blew my mirages out of the water.has anyone had a defective tweeter as of late?.

just got off the phone with axiom they told me what to do to test for a defective tweeter.ill try it tonight when i get off work and if its defective they`ll send me a new one.now thats service.

YEAP! Axiom service is second to none! I had a recent experience with two bad drivers on M2i speakers (my left and my center M2is to be exact) and they promptly sent me replacements!
