Okay guys, even though money does matter, let pretend it doesn't. I got Axioms for all my speakers minus the sub. I have a H/K 630. I care about video and audio. Thoughts? 2200 or 2900? What would be the best match? Thanks all!

Stepping up from the 2200 to the 2900 you get better DAC's for whatever that is worth to you. Some people say they see a difference in video quality as well. If money was no object though I'd opt for the 5900.

My only issue with the 5900 is the threads I've read on it being somewhat buggy. And if not buggy, too revealing of the problems on the DVD's quality (burn to disc process). Meaning the DVDs have the flaws and not the 5900. Either way. I'd rather step down a notch in revealability to avoid not being happy when spending over a grand.

The build quality of the 2900 is substantially better than the 2200 IMO.

From what I've read over the past month or so, the difference between the 2200 and the 2900 is better DAC's and better build quality. the picture is basically identical. If the build quality + DAC is worth $400 more, then spend what makes you happy.....:)
