I am trying to decide whether to go with the QS4 or QS8 surround speakers. Does anyone know if there is any difference between these 2 speakers other than the woofer size. Would the difference in sound be such a huge difference. Also the receiver I will be running only pushes 110 watts RMS which does not even touch the max for the qs4's which is 200 watts and the qs8' max is 400 watts. I knd of feel like the qs8's would be overkill. Has anyone compared the difference in sound between these two?
Thanks for any help in advance

Ignore the wattage. It doesn't matter. It just says that the speakers won't blow up if you put up to that amount of power through them. It's far more important to know how large your room is. The QS8s play louder and are generally recommended for larger areas.

As Ken said, QS8s are recommended for larger areas. It all makes sense. One needs a larger speaker to fill larger spaces.
If your space is not so large and you have to plans for changes in the future, then save some cash and pick up the QS4s. They now sport the same tweeters as the QS8s.
