Has anyone mounted their QS series surround speakers on the wall close to the ceiling and if so how do they sound? In my room where the surrounds would likely mount, I have a wide doorway. I have a 12" strip of wall above the doorway. Should I mount them on the wall above the doorway within 1 few inches of the ceiling , or should I try to find stands for them? ANy and all opinions would be appreciated.

I would go with the wall mount a few inches down from the ceiling. The early reflection off the ceiling from the top woofer will not deteriorate the performance. If you do decide to go with the stand option we have stands available for the QS series.
