I have been listening to my new m80ti's and vp150 now for a couple of days now and so far EVERYTHING sounds good to me. I have read on previous posts that the Axioms can bring out the "bad" recordings as well as the good. From the Axiom users I'm looking for your "bad" and "good" lists.

Thanks

We've done the especially good recordings a few times before. As far as bad recordings... Allanis Morrissette? Nails on a chalkboard.

Ben Kweller and Offspring definitely sound like crap on good speakers. So does Kiss and 311.

Just off the top of my head

Jack Johnson
Ben Harper
Pepper
Mason Jennings
Dave Matthews
Melissa Etheridge
Michael Jackson #1's
and I even thought Maroon 5 sounded pretty good.

My list is really short since I've only had my Axioms for a week and I've been too busy to give them the love I want to...

Bad recording:
Pitchshifter www.pitchshifter.com
New Order Substance (some tracks)

Good recording:
Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged

I've found various recordings to be in the middle.

Plant & Page Unledded "No Quarter". Plant sounds terrible and so do most of the instruments.

Bad Company(self titled) sounds awful on 80's.It seems to just sound dull.I do like their music but thats one disc I can't listen to.

I've got an original on vinyl, but no record player.
