Our PS1 died FINALLY

and we were going to ge s PS2 (we already have a few games)

I have searched towns like Chico,Redding, and others. I looked at Wallmart, Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, and a few small stores, and most stores are completely out of the PS2 console.

Some have the system, and no BUNDLES.

The retailers know this too. Is there a hold or something on them?

i wonder if it is a market ploy to set a LOWER price for the holidays (i hope)

I have been loking for about 2 months now. I see online seems fairly normal, barring the bundles which are scarce.

Maybe they are updating the bundles...with newer games?

hmmmm
I know that the PS3 is coming out very soon, so Sony is probably not shipping anymore PS2s. I'm not sure if this is the case, but seems logical to me.
I'm pretty sure the PS3 is a few years away, so I don't think they'd be holding back any shipments of PS2's for quite some time.
thats what i thought too

unless---they will shock the market?

fine with me

we bought the PS1 for 1 Benjamin

now they are $Fiddy

So I would assume the $1fiddy PS2 will drop

fine with me

The PS2 is plenty (we also have a game cube- i like it;) )

I've seen plenty of used ones in stores at a discount price, I haven't payed attention when it comes to new though. Electroics Boutique is pretty much the only place I look.
