I'm running M60ti's, Qs8's, vp100, and a ep175 with a denon avr-4802r and i'm having problems with it clipping out.

Sure I'm playing it loud BUT that's why i bought this system!

Any pointers on setup or levels? The technician at Axiom figured maybe it was the source ( ie mp3's off of the net) but I've also been watching dvd concerts and bought cd's and it clipped out!

This last time it wrecked my tweeters in my m60's. Axiom has no problem replacing them but its a pain in the ass.

Max volume is +12dB on 5.1 and +18dB on pure direct.

It clips out at +2 and up after running for a bit.

Any Ideas??!

I'd investigate getting a used outlaw five channel amp.

Or, at minimum - something for the front two channels. Tiny receiver amps are much better at powering three insignificant channels than those three plus two main ones. It'd be a nice load off the receiver.

Look into something like the audiosource amp four, at amazon.com for $320, should push 130-150 watts.

Do you have the M60s set to Large or Small? Try setting them to Small on the setup menu (if you had them at Large) , and use an 80-Hz or 60-Hz crossover in the menu.

How big a room are you running these in? Personal taste varies a lot regarding volume levels, and enthusiasts who like things really loud should go to a separate power amp for the mains. Most A/V receiver power output ratings are grossly exaggerated since they are measured with only one or two channels driven and usually at a single frequency rather than across the audible bandwidth.
