Super corny movie, but if you get a chance to see it.............you'll laugh!
Possibly the best premise for a movie I've seen in AGES. Just plain funny as hell. Two thumbs up.
"They replaced my brain with a bag of sand..." and "painted me black!"

In a great Elvis voice.......
"Got a growth on my pecker"
I really loved this movie. If I had a complaint it'd be that it's too short. I wanted more of it!
Great premise. Great acting. Genuinely funny from start to finish. I highly recommend checking it out, but only if you love to laugh!

OK, I love to laugh, so I just went to my local video store and rented a copy. I'll report later what I thought.
Speaking of funny, did anybody think any of the Austin Powers movies were funny? I did NOT, but then I don't laugh when I see poo, vomit, boogers, bad teeth, etc. OTOH, "Mini Me" was funny, not the dwarf - just the name.
Oh well, not every movie is for everyone . . .
No, I'm not an austin powers fan at all. I dont mind some stupid humor, but (in my opinion) those movies were all about stupid humor and nothing else.
If you like "stupid humor" then rend ZOOLANDER. I personally LOVED it.
violently tear Zoolander, eh?

Stupid humor doesn't bother me, I also thought Zoolander was very funny . . . I'm even thinking about adding it to my DVD library. What I don't like is what my many neices and nephews call "bathroom humor". Austin Powers was full of this and the "American Pie" series had quite a bit too, although not as bad. How about in American Pie 3 where the fellow was talking with a poo in his mouth . . . NOT funny!!

I just finished seeing Bubba Ho-Tep - it was excellent! What I liked most was the Elvis voice-overs when he was talking about all the mistakes he had made in the past. Thanks for the recommendation!

i will throw in a vote for "stupid humor" movies.
to this day i still laugh uncontrolably at 'Dumb and Dumber', and 'Theres Something about Mary'..
just real funny movies.. oh yea, and 'The Three Amigos'..

I'm a huge fan of Bruce Campbell. That said I thought Bubba Ho whatever was just a decent movie. Army of Darkness is one of the all time funniest movies IMO, along with all the Evil Dead flicks.
Zoolander ruled, All the Austin Powers movies are awesome, spoofing the old (Bond) spy movies. I even liked Three Amigos
One of my personal favorites was Mel Brooks Spaceballs, and he recently
annouced a sequel (or prequel?) so you know I'm geeked!
another hillarious lesser-known comedy classic is Fubar. It is a mock-umentary about some greaseball headbangers from Alberta. A really pleasant surprise, it is easily one of the funniest movies I've ever seen (though it certainly helps to be rural).
I couldn't watch Fubar - every clip I've seen I've just thought "I grew up with these guys"... why pay good money to see something you lived?

Fubar is one of my favorite movies. That one is a classic.
"Tron Funkin blows!"
In the same vein... a buddy of mine just went to an "80s theme" wedding social. He's on the left.
Yes, that hair came out of a bag - he's a commercial pilot with a haircut you could set your watch to.
How do you set your watch to a haircut?

From the Simpsons... flashback to Abe Simpson watching football on TV in the 60s:
(about Joe Namath): "Look at those sideburns. He looks like a girl. Now, Johnny Unitas...there's a haircut you could set your watch to."

You all forgot the Pink Panther movies and Monty Python films. I love The Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, and The Life of Brian.
