Yup. the ol' trade deficit. They announced the change a couple weeks before it happened, and you missed the window by 4 days.

Trevor, there was some advance notice of this and a little discussion in this thread . Possibly when they heard of your business trip they decided that it was time to act.

Probably the falling US dollar is to blame.

probably Bush to blame.
