Hey guys. I am looking at going with some tranducers (buttshakers) for my home theater seating. I have read up some and see that Clark Synthesis is one of the best for the buck. I talked with them this AM and was told that I would need a 2 cha 200 wpc @ 8 ohms AMP. Any recomendations on a cheap amp that will fit this???

Also, anyone have the Clark models?

Ah, trasducers...

I used to use Bass Shakers in my old home theater (see http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=222 and look for The Starlight Theater), and they are pretty darn cool.

For an amp, you could check out partsexpress.com and get a kit.

For my Bass Shakers, I was able to use an old Pioneer pro logic reciever (100 watts per channel) and just hooked the Bass Shakers in to the front speaker channels. I fed the receiver the sub out (split with a Y-spliter with one connection going to my powered sub) line from my main receiver. Worked great. Had MORE than enough power. I can't image using 200 watts per channel on tranducers. The basic Bass Shakers at 25 watt max (each) was WAY, WAY, WAY more than enough.
