hi everyone. just thought i'd update you on my amp ordeal. well needless to say i didn't get the outlaw amps. instead i got the mitsubishi hc900u projector and a dalite 119 inch diagonal screen. i'am very happy with my choice. also i found a 5 channel amp too. parasound has there new classic line coming out in canada at the end of april. i'm for surly going to get the 5250, in fact i talked to distributer and can pre order it at the start of april. i'm glad i waited. its specs are 250x5 in 8 ohms and 385x5 in 4ohms, its also thx ultra2 certified. the retail price is going to be about 2500 canadian. so i guy probally could get it for around 2000 if hes lucky. when i was shopping for my projector i came across some parasound halo amps looked at the a51 which is pretty much the same spec wise as the 5250 classic model. the a51 has 15 more watts per channel in 4 ohms. halo is a nicer lookin amp for sure. but at 6000 plus tax its not that nice lookin. so waiting actually paid off it'll cost me ruffly the same as the outlaw 755 with shipping and taxes. so to say the least i'm happy i waited.

If you are half as pleased with your Parasound amp as I am with mine, you won't regret it. Good luck and post updates when you have the new amp please.
