I currently use a VP100 for my center channel, but I'm looking to replace it with either 2 M3s or 2 M22s, which I already have and are currently gathering dust (awaiting a new receiver for my second system - ran out of play funds ha ha!)
My mains are the M60s, the surrounds are QS8s.
So, which would be better? I would think the M22, since the M22 supposedly is a mini M60?
Thanks in advance!
Definitely go with the M22s. Center channels need to carry a lot of voices/vocals and the M22s will be a bit "sharper and clearer" in that range.
just curious why not just upgrade to the VP150. Also, how do you plan to hook up 2 centers?
How do I plan to hook them up? Hook a wire from one speaker to another..in parallel, I think that's what someone here told me.
Why not upgrade to VP150...because I'm out of play funds for now
No love for the M3s... or the M50s... you cruel, cruel people.
F107 and Ken, c'mon... let's start our own forum... the He-Man M22/60/80 Haters Club.

Hi Dallas,
While it's not night and day, the timbral balance of the M22ti is closer to the M60 and the QS8 than the M3ti. It's most obvious when you use a pink-noise test signal, but with music or soundtracks, it is not a dramatic difference. We're talking nuances here. . .

Can I join ? I have M3s *and* M60s... but I don't allow them to fraternize...
Ok, You're in!
But remember, you can only type your responces with one hand(your choice!)
My typing stays equally as bad as usual-I have M3s AND M50s and they sing as duets! So I can type with both hands(One finger each)

Hey, I've got triple hate going! I've got the VP100, QS4s, and M50s! No one wants my speakers!
