In the past few days, I've bought Qs8s and a HK DPR2005 for the home theather (for the new house that I will be moving into in approx October).

Soon the center channel(s), projector and the big decision to get the floorstanders or keep the Polks that I've had since I was 14 (I am now thirty for those keeping count!)

Anyways, I'm sure that I'll be around more. Thanks for all the advice in advance.

I'll keep you updated and hopefully let you see the progress of the room as it comes along.

Uh....well....You "Could" have some THX or DTS signs in your room, ya know?!

Hey! If you like your Dear Old Polks, you may be able to locate a center that may match well with them and do just fine! Although mating both with the QS8s may make it a little tricky,.....who knows?(Of course there's nothing wrong with your original choices of VP150 and M80s!!)

You still have the fun of figuring all that out! And it's certainly half the fun!!

Not sure of the Polks... They've been i the family for the past twenty five years. They've got a 12" sub, two 6" mids and a tweeter on top of the cabinet. I've never seen them before anywhere else. I would love to find out the model number but they are not marked in any manner.

I really have no idea about the projector yet. There are sooooo many. Suggestions are appreciated. Theere are just too many at too many price ranges. The nice thing about axiom seems to be a large "bang for your buck" factor. I can not find the equivalent for the projectors, yet.

The room is 20x 30.

And of coures, I love blue, am a Libra and the shoe size question seems a bit personal!
