Any thoughts if it would be worth it to change from my Onkyo TX-SR601 to the H/K AVR 525-Z? One of the things I am looking for and I don't know if the H/K has it is easier (less button pushing) changing from say one DVD player to another so that the video and audio change over all in one button push.
One of the other things I know I would like about the Harmon is the superior bass management.

Your thoughts and input are very appreciated.
oh yeah and the additional cost would be about $200 as I would be getting about $250 or so for the Onkyo and would get the refurb H/K for $430

SS, on the button pushing thing, it's unlikely that anyone is personally familiar with that aspect of the two units, so you might simply have to endure the suffering of trying to compare the two manuals. The 525 would have a little more maximum power capability, which wouldn't be an advantage unless you're exceeding the 601's capability. The 525 does have individual crossover settings for three different speaker groups and you should decide whether that's a significant advantage with the speakers that you're using.

It would certainly be possible to run a 525 with multiple DVD players (all the digital inputs are assignable), but I would think that should also be possible with the 601.
