Yeah, the 60's were in the bedroom for a few hours, when I first got'em, but then quickly found their way into my HT. I love'em, and really don't feel the need to replace them with the 80's, but I figured I may as well get the best they have to offer. Seeing all the 80's on the Wall-O-Fame hasn't helped much either.

Go for the 4 M80ti's I did and you will never regret it. It is super sweet with SACD DVD-A and of coarse HT.
Good Luck,
Lee
Believe it or not, I never got into SACD and DVD-A. I've borrowed players from the lending library at work (ex-work actually) but just never got around to getting one of my own. I do own a couple of SACD's though. I haven't used direct radiator's for surrounds in a long time; so, it'll be fun going through my dvd's again.

Mini, I've been contemplating the very same move. During the past couple of weeks I have been trying to lay out a system in my mind for the room addition and have been thinking quite a lot about adding an RB-1095 5 ch amp to my existing 1080 2 ch amp along with a RSP-1098 processor (all Rotel gear) and a couple of more 80s, VP150 and possibly an EP-600 for a 7.1 system and throwing the HK 635 and the 60s in another part of the house...you know Dennis is running yet another 80 for the center channel!
I think 4 will be plenty for my envrionment. Keep me posted.
Yeah, I check out Tharkun's site frequently; the man is my hero.
Unfortunately, an 80 for the center is out of the question for me for the moment. Maybe when I get a projector.
Regarding Rotel gear, man, I've always loved their product. I had the pleasure of owning and demoing their stuff in my HT. I remember when I was temporarily using an HK receiver with a full Def Tech 2002 speakers system, that sounded pretty good on its own, and added one of Rotel's 5ch THX amps. Talk about a night and day difference; every thing was so much clearer and more dynamic. Good lord they make some great amps. I think a 5ch amp to go along with your 2ch would be perfect! And, the addition of a 1098 would be heaven.
