I've seen a lot of good things lately at AVS. Maybe it's just the people from this board speaking up. I know I spent a lot of time there when I was deciding on the new speakers.

Yes, they read them. Then they just dismiss the web site, the reviewer, and the review with whatever excuse is handy. "Axiom advertises on that site, which of course means the review is slanted." "That reviewer is incompetent." "No measurements in that review so it's all opinion." They only believe or praise the review sites, reviewers, and reviews that support their own biases and preconceived notions.
