I am brand new to the forum after hearing good things about Axiom. I'm looking to get new speakers for our 2-channel system and would like some feedback on which ones would match up best with a Cambridge Audio 540v2 integrated amp.

Our room is 18x12. The speakers will be along the 18ft wall and seating is across the room, up against the wall. Right now our speakers are about 2 ft from the wall so we sit about 10 ft from them. We listen to a little of everything but more classic rock and blues. Volume is mostly moderate, nothing crazy loud.

Which bookshelf and floorstander would be a good match for this setup?
Welcome to the forum, Imho I think the M60's would be perfect for your setup.
At that listening distance almost any Axiom speaker would be acceptable, but, being partial to floorstanding speakers, I gotta agree with HomeDad. The M60s would be a great choice. If you don't plan on adding a subwoofer, the M80s would get you a bit more bass, but not so much that you'd feel deprived with the M60s.

I'm assuming this is a music only system. If so, adding even a modest subwoofer, like the Axiom EP125, would add a nice dimension. If budget is a factor, The x-sub from av123 is worthy of consideration. It's a heck of a bang for the buck, and would nicely compliment any pair of Axiom speakers. Unfortunately, they're sold out until June 5.
72(a good rule to know, indeed)another welcome. There's no need to be concerned about your 540 "matching" speakers. If it was an extremely low-powered unit, special attention would be given to getting speakers with well above average sensitivity, but the 540 has enough power for speakers of typical sensitivity(such as the Axioms)in typical rooms playing at typical levels. You don't mention a sub, and the M60s would be an excellent choice for your room size, with more bass than a bookshelf. I'll also comment however, that my M22s provide adequate bass for most types of music(no pipe organ allowed)even when used without a sub.
