Are any of you fans of artists who distribute music through CD Baby? I was going to order a CD through there, but it feels like such a waste just ordering one CD at a time, so if any of you have recommendations, I'm open. Thanks!

Depends what you like... but Jaylene Johnson is someone I like listening to in those "chill" times.

I don't know who to compare her to, my knowledge of popular music is pretty lax (though if you ever need to know the subtle differences between ALL and the Descendents, I'm your man!)... so, just listen to the samples and save me the embarrassment of trying to find a corollary. I suggest Butterfly Girl and Not Forgotten.

Read her bio on there as well, her story is one of success in spite of tragedy (she was severely injured in a car accident a few years ago, when she was hit head-on by a semi, she's back touring and promoting again and has a bunch of songs on soundtracks - "Joan of Arcadia", "Dawson's Creek", "Beautiful People"... etc)

Interesting site, Charles. Listened to several CDs and my suggestions would be the Nutcracker or the Spanish collection .

I've ordered a couple of CD's from CDBaby. I'd recommend both Joe Purdy - Julie Blue & Joe Purdy - Only Four Seasons.

I love both albums.

I like both releases by Vicci Martinez very much. She sounds a lot like Melissa Etheridge, except that she's a young latina. CDBaby also distributes the Presidents of the United States of America, of which I seemingly never tire.
