A couple of years ago, I sold my M3's after building a pair of DIY speakers. The DIY's were fun to build and to tweak, but I missed the Axiom sound. My M3's had always received praise from any who heard them. While browsing the Axiom forums, I came across a post where a couple of forum members had a listening session comparing the M3's, the M50's and the M80's. Reading of their listening session made me realize just how good the M3's are...and how I missed having a pair.

Well...I recently purchased another pair of M3's. Wow! I forgot just how good these little stand mounted speakers sound. I have a large listening room, and even without a sub the bass is impressive, along with the trademark Axiom detailed sound. The M3 truly is an impressive little speaker with a big sound.

The M3s ... my favorite Axiom speaker.

Great to hear you've picked them up again. They never cease to surprise me on good recordings. My pair's now 6 years old and going as strong as ever. I don't think I'll ever replace them.
