Just orderd my first set of Axioms for a back porch thats not finished yet! I couldnt wait for my house to be built before I order the new wave of speakers so since its coming up on fathers day I got the wife to buy me some new outdoor speakers. I opted for the spiced rum color and was told to try the omni mount 10 for a verticle celing placement.
I dont even have my reciever...its in a P.O.D. lol. I plan to hook them to a friends reciever and check them out. I will be able to a/b them with some B&W 602s2....not outdoor but fun non the less.
This is the first wave...next will be m80's,vp150,and qs8's if I like the sound of these bad boys.

never have heard the M3's, but it's too dangerous to hall the M60's outside to the patio (never even tried bringing the M80s up from the theatre room), so bravo to the outside speaker line!
time for Axiom to come out with an Algonquin sub...I'll start saving now.

Arrrgghhhhh me butt be red...those pesky speakers were not ready so they are shipping out today. Now I should get them wed of next week. Just in time for me to head off to the beach untill sunday. Thats how it usualy goes lol
Now I just might have to pack up a reciever and try them out in the condo. We will see how badly the wife rides me when I tell her that lol
Just got a chance to take a listen to my new speakers. First of the color is awesome...but the paint job is not the greatest. I can tell it was sprayed on and there is some junk/air bubbles on the finish....one spot is kinda thin and you can see there is a slight black tint showing through....and there was one scrape on the side corner of one that took the paint off. Honestly to me...almost like what I think B stock should be like. Mounted up outside you wont ever see any of it, I might talk to axiom about it.
Didnt get to listen to long or loud because I was at a friends house on a cheap old crapy reciever. My stuff is still packed up but they still sounded damn good. I was surprised by the bass...we were inside tho.
