I bought my first Axioms several years ago - the Epic 80 HT system (M80's, VP150 and QS8's) with the EP350 subwoofer. When I upgraded my DVD/CD player to a Denon DVD-2900 I also upgraded my amp from a NAD T750 to a Denon AVR-3803 (in order to process additional surround sources). I currently use an Antique Labs AQ1003DT tube amp for the top end of the M80's (for more warmth) with the Denon for the lower end (for faster response).

I just ordered a pair of M3's as part of our home office redecoration, and they will be driven by the NAD T750. The office system will be for computer sound (including iTunes music) and for television stereo sound. My question is: do you think the tube amp is better used to drive the new M3's with the NAD as the pre-amp or leave it driving the upper end of the M80's in the HT setup?

I don't know but this may interest you. He's using your amp to drive M2s which are similar to M3s.

2X6, what's your opinion?

The only way to really know for sure is to simply try both and see which you like best

Hello fellas

I prefer the M3Tis to the M2Tis as companions for the 5 wpc Antique Sound Labs MG S1 15DT. To me the M3s make a perfect partner to a sweet tube amp. Now your tube amp is a powerhouse in comparison, but I don't think you'll ever be pushing more than 5 wpc under normal useage anyway.

Let us know what you choose and how it works for you.

BTW, I have both M3s and the new M2s.
