Just finished wiring the office speakers, my old pair of M3s (the Algonquins that will run off the same amp are due in 1-2 weeks). However, I have to confess my sins as I complete this project, and am surrendering my Snooty Audiophile credentials.

1. I used run-of-the-mill in-wall wire from Home Depot.
2. I connected said run-of-the-mill wire bare, without gold-plated interconnects.
3. I did not use 10-15 degrees of toe-in for pinpoint imaging.
4. My source "component" is iTunes (wireless!), rather than a CD player with 24/48-googol bit dual-differential all-encompassing omnipotent DACs.
5. I used the TONE KNOBS.

I shall have to bury my face in the sand and listen to nothing but Yo Yo Ma on SACD for the next 6 months.

Frank, I checked the Audio Catechism and found little if anything sinful in your actions. Go in peace, and you need not limit your listening to Yo Yo Ma(but of course it has to be classical).
