Has anyone had the opportunity to demo these side-by-side? For anyone who has heard them both, how would you compare the two? I know the Paradigm 60s are a bit pricier than the M60s. I wondering if they are worth the extra $. Thanks.

M22 is close to reference 20. I've heard the ref 40 and liked it, but they were getting up there in price so I never even listened to the 60's.

If you can't track down anyone who has heard these two speakers side by side, it may be worth your time to order the M60s and find a Paradigm dealer willing to let you do an in-home demo with the Studio 60s. Most reputable dealers will let you do that.

In addition to satisfying your curiosity, you'd be satisfying ours, as well -- if you reported back to us about your experience (which of course we'd fully expect ).

It certainly crossed my mind. I'm just not sure I'm ready to make that leap yet. Correction, I'm ready...the wife is a different story.

Or, you could find someone with M60s and offer to bring over a borrowed (from a dealer) pair of Studio 60s to compare. Where are you located, mbj?
