Hi Everyone!!
By the way, for all you WHO fans the "My Generation"
SACD is amazing in clarity.

Okay, I can't seem to find a 125v 10amp fuse anywhere
for an old Fisher Receiver (70s), can I bypass the fuse or is it possible to use a differently rated fuse?

Any help appreciated,

BTW, for you low budget guys, Toshiba's SD-4900 DVD-Audio player is pretty good. I bought it especially for "Pet Sounds"

cant see your fuse, but believe we have them for microwave ovens. try taking your fuse to a parts house. be sure you get a fast blow and not a slow blow fuse; both are offered for microwaves.

I would never ever try to bypass a fuse. If you cannot find the correct replacement fuse in your local RadioShack, Home Depot, or other hardware/home improvement stores (I bet you can!), try one of numerous online parts shops, such as PartsExpress.com and AllElectronics.com. And more importantly, you definitely want to know why the fuse blew in the first place.

I did find an AGC 250v 4amp fuse to replace the 3AG 125v 3 2/10amp blown fuse. I needed expert help to get an equivalent to use for the blown one. I guess buying a fuse is not as straightforward as it seems because there are many possible equivalents.

Thank you for your replies,

Intune
