I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Hi, I just bought the NAD replacing a 20yr old HK which took my old AudioTec speakers with it when it died. I hadn't used it much(a bit through headphones) until I received my M60s almost 2 weeks ago. I am very happy with the combination. Even with only 50 NAD watts/channel it powers the M60s easily. I usually listen at about 1/4 volume sitting about 8-10 feet away. It is extremely loud when approaching half way on the volume dial. Even running it through a 13yr old Sony CDP670 it sounds great...lotsa detail. The combo produces nice clean highs which I love good solid bass that can be felt through the floor upstairs and all the good stuff in-between. The price was nice too...not too many amps in the $500CAD range are built as well and my wife didn't gasp at the price. Best of luck.

The Pioneer Elite A-35R integrated amp(2x45) can be had for less than half the price of the NAD. Is there going to be a whole lot of difference if a guy was going to running 2i's with these two amps?

yea i have seen the elite amp on the internet but never heard one. What i think is that even though they are rated at similar powers the nad is going to give you more power, better bass, and detail. NAD's been makeing intergated amps for ever pioneer hasn't had that much experence in this field i would stick to the nad

I had a Pioneer integrated amp back in the 60's so I think they've been around for a while as well. I'm not sure if blind testing would reveal any "signifcant" difference at all.
