So, puttering around upstairs I fired up the Yamaha M80 (first 30 watts pure class A), the Onkyo P309 preamp and all Vifa Dahlquist DQM905s.

Sure sounds rich and beautiful. Doesn't leave much to be desired. Beautiful!
