Hey how good is the HK AVR 8000? will it be better for the epic 60's or 80's?

Thanks!

i can push the M60's with no probs.. and as long as it is rated for a 4ohm load, i am sure it would have no probs with the M80's..

the real facter is if you have enough space to warrent the M80's.. or if you just like to make your ears bleed??

What are you pushing them with?

I don't know why everone thinks you need some large hall to warrent buying the M80's.I have mine in a room thats 20x15 and 7.5 foot high by far not a large room.I had no problems with placement. They are not as hard to place as everyone thinks they are.If you can afford to buy them I suggest give it a go,you won't be sorry. The only down side I could see is you can't push them with a reciever that can't handle a 4 ohm load. The HK could do it with no problems. One thing is for sure with the M80's you will never wonder what if.

So if i get this right the AVR 8000 can push the 80's and get most of the sound out of them even at lower listening levels?

I would think so.If I'm not mistaken Axiom does recommend either HK or Denon for the 80's.I myself use a Rotel amp pre-amp.

Wid is right. Axiom recommends H/K and Denon's driving anything other than their 8 ohm speaker's.

The H/K AVR 8000 will be just fine for both the M60's and M80's.
