Last year around this time I was researching (and enjoying every minute of it) to buy my first pair of "real" speakers to begin my home theatre and stereo setup. All my research pointed me to Axiom and I ordered a pair of M60's for Christmas. I've never looked back since. I don't think I could afford a better set of speakers! Now after reading this message board almost everyday for a year I ordered my first sub. Although the EP600 would be REALLY sweet I decided to go with the HSU STF-2 (primarily for budget reasons). I've ordered the sub and cannot wait to rip through my music with the M60 + STF-2 combo. My uncle purchased the STF-1 for his small home theatre room and it sounds amazing for such a little sub.

Just wanted to once again thank all who post their honest opinions and personal audio revelations here on this board.

enjoy your new sub. now just get you some surrounds and a center channel and you are set!!

I have M60s with an STF-2 in a room 11.5x18x8. Sure does the job for me. Unless your room is incredibly larger, I think you'll be very happy with the STF-2.

Congrats, the STF-2 is an awesome subwoofer.

I've got a 20 x 14 x 7.5 room (although my theater space is only 10 x 14) and I've got a SVS PB12-Plus/2... it's meant for like....4 times the space.....Big John hates me.
