OK, I was about to just make a decision and go with the M40ti as fronts, but another great review of the M22ti has me thinking again.

My room size is about 15 ft X 22 ft. Matched with a sub (Hsu VTF-2 I think)can the M22ti handle that amount of space? Or should I just stick with the M40ti?

My wife and I listen to all kinds of music, from rock to jazz, etc, and like to turn it up load occasionally. The system will be 60-40 music to movies and will be powered by a Marantz SR5200 receiver (85wpc).

Any recommendations from Axiom owners would be appreciated.

Un, if you examine the M22 and M40 measurements taken at the NRC as part of the SoundStage reviews you'll note that the M22 actually measured slightly lower in distortion at the same high 90dB level. This would indicate that it should handle your size room at least as well. Since you'll be using a sub, the better bass extension of the M40 shouldn't be a factor. The somewhat smoother M22 mid-range would be a bit more enjoyable, I would think.

I have a 15x15 room with M22ti's and the Adire Rava sub. There are no problems filling the room with sound. I don't think your few extra feet shoud make much of a difference.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I have decided on the M22ti's and will be ordering them on Friday! What do you think of the
Hsu VTF-2 sub to match? It seems to get great reviews, anyone out there have it?
