I was thinking about getting some of these, but since they are a little pricey, I might have a friend of mine who owns a metal/welding fabrication shop build me some just like them.

My main question is for those using these, how do you route the speaker wiring. It does not appear you can hide/conceal the wires.

With my current DIY bracket, the wires are hidden within the plastic cover.

Here is an older picture of when I had my Mansfields...

Your now your right. I have them mounted on a wall so the wire hides behind the speaker. I looked at mine and cannot see how you could put the wire out of sight?
Get a couple of feet of the Axiom wire and then you wouldn't want to hide the wire.
You could just route the wire along the bracket and wrap both in black electrical tape...
curious as to why you want to get the brackets with your's have done the job for so long now? I think they look great as they are...
Some people are never done upgrading, I think.
The main reason is that with brackets like these, you have the ability to angle/rotate the Q's. My rear speakers have always been a little closer to the rear seating than I wanted. I think with these brackets I could move them back possibly another foot, and angle them down slightly towards the listeners, which may help expand the experience.

Not sure?
