I bought my Monster 3250 3 channel amp on ebay from an unauthorized dealer about a year ago.

I started having a problem last month with a random off/on cycle.

Monster CS worked with me suggesting several things to check.

Wednesday Monster CS issued an RMA and will send a new amp.

I just wanted everyone to know how much I like this amp and that Monster came through for me!

I bought mine while they were flooding the ebay and unauthorized market for around 900-1000.

Bug: sorry to hear that you are having problems with the Monster!!

However, I am pleasantly surprised to hear that Monster appears to be working with you. The repair aspect of buying one of those amps on EBAY did, in fact, effect my decision not to buy one.

Hope that everything works out for you!!!!!!!!!

I had to send back a reference powercenter because the volt meter backlighting went out, They sent me a brand new one the next model up. (mine was discontinued) so really... I bought it really cheap off the internet, it broke, Sent it back and got one thats even better for the cost of return shipping. Saving a few hundred $$ in the process since the one they sent back is much more expensive than the one I had. At least when i bought it.

Pretty good if you ask me.

Rat,

My only problem now is that without the Monster I have no surrounds. I'm glad I kept the Outlaw M200s. I shifted the monoblocks back to the mains and my spare M200 to the centers. I may see if I can buy a used M200. I could use a pair to run my Outdoor M3s when they arrive.

Bug: sounds like a plan to me.

After we sell our "old" house, I am going to reassess what I do with my HT. We hope to have the "old" house on the market in the next week or two. Boy, I thought that I would be able to have it ready to put on the market last July. 10 months later and I am still working the problem!!!!

Maybe I am going to set some sort of inverse speed record???? LOL!!!
