Tomorrow I'll be hanging my two new M2's on a couple of full metal bracket ceiling mounts, and was wondering if anyone who has done this before has some advice?

They'll be acting as my rear surrounds, and I've got some 35 pound rated ceiling anchors if I don't happen to find any joists in the spot where I'll be mounting them.

Bayne I can't see where you'd have any problems mounting the M2s onto the ceiling with the FMBs if you are using an anchor such as an ... EZ Anchor ... these things can really handle the workload with drywall and are very easy to install.

do you have a drop ceiling or drywalled?

Drywall...

I've got them up and they seem to be secure. Unfortunately I can't try them out until my new receiver arrives later this week. I've got them angled down as much as possible and toed in about a half inch. They're 54 inches in and 54 inches apart. I'll see how this set-up sounds first. Fortunately by ceiling is covered my fabric panles, so I can put as many holes in it as I'd like.
