I am about to order my system including QS-8's, which I intend to wall mount using the supplied T-brackets. Looking at the manual and the various photographs I've found, it looks like there's not much room behind the speaker for the wiring.

Question: Should I use a binding post faceplate on the wall behind each speaker, or do most folks just run the wiring through a hole in the wall? FWIW, SWMBO just had the room painted and wont' be very happy with me putting any more holes in the wall than I have to, but once she sees that it's not visible I hope she'll be OK.

Send her shopping, install them, she'll not know,

I was originally going to use a nifty recessed wall plate from Parts Express but gave up on that notion due to the speaker being so flush against the wall that I was having a difficult time trying to connect the speaker wire to the wall plate binding post while juggling a QS8, so I ended up using the bare wire and I was quite happy with the end result.

I'd do the bare wire.

Bare wire is the best to go for mounting to the wall with the T bracket.
