Hi everyone,

I want to purchase the VP150 center channel and due to it's width, I am having a lot of trouble finding a home theater furniture system that can accomodate it's size (I am hoping to put my monitor on top of the furniture system and place the center channel in the furniture)? Does anyone have a solution or experience with this situation?

Many thanks in advance...

I know that you can piece together a Sanus Synergy system. The VP150 height was what narrowed it down. However, I don't see the Synergy on the website, maybe it has a new name.

I bought it new years back at Magnolia. Then I found extra pieces locally on Audiogon. Worth a shot. BDI may also have something.

Bear in mind, these aren't the cheapest...

I have the Synergy and was going to get the top platform to put the plasma on top w/ the VP150 underneath. However, I ended up just wall mounting the display. Oddly enough, that ends up being cheaper, at least in my situation.
Just in case you aren't familiar with the two sites, have you tried Racks and Stands and Stands and Mounts?

They're two of the bigger suppliers on the net (though I haven't personally dealt with either). Shipping might be high, but you can always use the sites to find the right item then try to find it locally if shipping puts it beyond your budget!
Not quite sure what you mean by furniture. We went with an entertainment center by Hooker. Plenty of room for a 61" and lots of room on top for a VP150. Click on My HT under my sig for pics.

What's the WAF on one of those?
In these lean times, they had to diversify into AV furniture. . .

That has plenty of room for... how long exactly? 61"?
You might want to find an unfinished wood furniture store in your area. They usually carry products from several manufacturers and have dozens of styles and designs to choose from (more than any regular furniture store would have on display). They are often available in different woods and can be finished to match other furniture or speakers.
I was in the same boat, I looked at hundreds of different cabinets. I decided to get a regular entertainment cabinet and made the housing for the VP150 myself, it turned out pretty decent. The bonus in that is, I could have the TV at the height I wanted.

Yes, indeed! My wife even bought [her] for me.
