Well, I get one or two deliveries a week to the house and have never had a problem.

My QS8s were scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Get home tonight, track my package and it says delivered, but they are not here!

Do I call Axiom, FedEx or the police? I called Noreen at Axiom and but not home so left a message.

I feel violated!
Maybe a neighbor got them?
Did you sign a waiver at one time for delivery without a signature?
Yeah, they should not have been left without a signature.

Yep, probably 10 years ago when I was in CA. Am I screwed Blued and Tatooed?

Did ya call FedEx?

Just got off the phone with FedEx, She was great...but I'm still a little foggy on it all..... she said "it APPREARS they may have been misdelivered... I'm still contacting the driver and will have him deliver them tomorrow".

I asked, well were they delivered, will my tracking number reflect this, or they will be on the porch tomorrow. She said "just wait till tomorrow.............????????

Hope The APPEARS to be misdelivered ..... is the final outcome.

Unless its a new or substitute driver this would be odd. If he is here much more often I'll need to start having him and his spouse over for beers. So he knows the place
I am not sure if Axiom has signature required. Mine were left by the door with both the M80 boxes in bits and both speakers damaged.

I will get to know soon..my replacement M80 has been shipped.

The axioms, at least for my EP500, was sig required, but there was/is some exception, I left a note that day with my tracking number, dated and signed and they left it. For all other deliveries ... W22s with W150 & QS4s, no sig required.

For W100, no sig required.

For this non-delivery ????????
Have you listened to the squirrel nests in the neighborhood?

I did notice one neigher setup one of those inflatable drive in movie screens tonight ..... they are grillin, have a keg and smilin a lot
Well, so whats the verdict? Did you find your speakers? Maybe it was just a web mistake thing and the status was just actually an attempted delivery. I guess either way you have to contact FedEx. I just dont trust leaving parcels outside. New speakers in an Axiom box are just too much eye candy to resist for a thief passing by.

Ive thought about the eye candy, I understand sales but Axiom is internet... why do they advertise on the box, if they dont want to double box.. just inviting pain for someone who has already bought,, Ive contacted FedEx .. seems I just have to wait till tomorrow and see how it all plays out
Is your address easily mixed up with any others in your town? I live on the SW part of my street and had a package mis-delivered the the NW side once.
I just had FedEx misdeliver a hard drive to the house next door on Saturday. Since it was Saturday, it's not a driver who normally delivers to my house, so I suppose I can understand the confusion. I contacted FedEx when the package didn't surface, and they were going to check with the local terminal and get back to me, but then the neighbor finally called and said they had it. Whew.
This is why it pays to be nice to your neighbors. That does NOT include giving them a fruitcake for Christmas. You may never see your packages again!
\:\) Happy Birthday!
Thanks, Charles! I don't feel older quite yet. Maybe when I wake up in the morning?
Here's hoping. Old age always feels more real in the morning.
Ha ha, that gives me something to look forward to!
Hmm, if you have something to look forward to, I guess you're not really old!
If you look over at the neighbors house and they all of a sudden close the curtains and wont make eye contact with you, Id wonder.
To put an end on the tale.

Noreen called me today. Said a woman called her stating that she received packages from Axiom she didn't order. She said she lived at the same address as me but a different street, in the same neighborhood. Norenn contacted FedEx, they said I would get delivery Friday probably. Or maybe the woman would bring them by. She didn't get the woman's name or number before they hung up.

So I decided to do some recon for intel this afternoon. Found a house with the same number around a couple corners from me, and their on the porch, some boxes.

Upon closer inspection ninja style they were axiom boxes, so I thought what the H*ll, I paid for them! So I took them and left a note for the good neighbor or the FedEx person.

Hope it doesn't cause a rodeo for Noreen with FedEx. I left Noreen a message tonight but she was already gone.

Probably next thing tonight will be a knock on the door, and some neighbor of the other good neighbor will have called the cops about the guy stealing packages off of their porch!
Nice detective work. Did you at least knock on the door first? The woman might be sweating about it now. \:\)

I'd probably have done the same thing. Boxes like that are liable to walk away if left out for too long.
Or said nothing and have FedEx pay for another set. Hehehe.
Sounds like the preface to a Cops Episode...

:::...BREAKS DOWN FRONT DOOR...."HANDS ON YOUR HEAD!!...PUT DOWN THE QS8 AND STEP AWAY FROM THE SPEAKER!!...:::

Yep, knocked and Yep too long to set out.

Another "Free Pair" Hmmmmm.... be right back, going to go get the note back!

Sweet!

I wonder who the idiot was that thought it was a good idea to have the same address (minus the street) in multiple houses within the same neighborhood?

I gonna call rural NC on that one. When I bought the house, new less then 5 years ago, I asked the contractor for a copy of the plans, so I could have dimensions and layout for interior design remodels, what not. He said well there really isn't any plans.
My daughter desined the floor plan, first house out of school for her!

I said what! is it permitted?

He said well hell ya... The planning dept knows me knows I will build it right I just gave them a 11x17 of the footprint, what else would you need?

Well to be sure I checked everything! The house is built well and correct, but ........? Comin' from SoCal, I sort of really liked this new concept!

So I don't expect a lot out of the division developer.. would you?

And if you like that .... Im use to a really quick deal with a 45 day escrow in CA .... but usually lots more....

When I moved here to NC, and bought this house (I did really well when I sold my house in SoCal and sold at the top of the market, before the house of cards), so I had cash for the purchase

I made an offer on the house Wednesday night at 5:30 PM, the contractor said, it's in daddy's name so I'll have to see when he is available... got a call Thursday .. Said Daddy is available Friday morning .... As opposed to escrow, you go thru a Real Estate lawyer in NC... so we met Friday at 10:30 am, showed up I signed one document 20 minutes later we were done... at 3:00 the same day, a woman from the lawyers office called and said " I walked your paperwork over to city hall I have your deed, do you want to come pick it up this afternoon ? Or I can mail it to you and you'll have it Monday. while laughing... I said mail it!
I have the same problem with the house number. I'm always getting other peoples mail that I then deliver to their house, but noone ever returns my stuff.
Hold their mail for ransom!

awesome. \:\)
