is there any difference sonically between these two? given their csbinet sizes are a little different. as i will be ordering one of these over the weekend.also is it true the on wall ones can not be toed in? thanks for your help.

Hi Herb,

If you want to construct your wall with built in toeing, then you can toe the on-walls in... I don't think it would really be necessary.

In any case, the bookshelves have much better bass than the on-walls, based on my experience.

And the bookshelves are designed to work with the FMBs.

I have both, I much prefer the sound of the book-shelfs.
