I went from a Harman Kardon 3600 to a Denon 4311. I ran Audyssey XT32 but the crossover point were very different than the ones I was normally using on the 3600. On the 3600 I was using 40hz for M60, 80hz for the VP150 and 100hz for my QS8s. I am also using two subwoofers STF-2 from HSU.

With the Denon 4311CI Audyssey choose 60hz for the VP150, 80hz for the QS8s and Full Band for the M60. It sounds good but Im just wondering if there is no problem with the M60 set to Full Band (whatever that means on audyssey). My QS8s sound much better now with that crossover point on them.

Jose, the two sets of crossover settings aren't actually greatly different, i.e., about 20Hz. The Audyssey measurements indicated that those frequencies were the point where those speakers were 3dB down. For the M60s it was below the lowest 40Hz setting, so instead of a crossover frequency, the M60s were sent the full range, including the lowest bass.

The fact that the speakers were capable of handling those frequencies doesn't necessarily mean that that's the best overall result, especially when you have good subs like the STF-2s. My suggestion would be to take some of the lowest bass load off the M60s and put it on the STF-2s which are designed to handle it best. In short, manually set an 80Hz crossover for the M60s, raise the VP150 to 80Hz and keep the QS8s at 80Hz.

Well, I'd ALSO advise some personal listening in your room.

Since I rarely listen very loud, I found that running M60's full-range (or with a 60Hz crossover), IN MY ROOM was very helpful in eliminating room-related bass nulls in the 60-80Hz region. Having the extra transducers in different locations was of more value to me than the extra headroom. YMMV.

Try it a few different ways and do whatever sounds best to your ears in your room.
