I've ordered some more Algonquin that will eventually be used outside after some building work is completed and in the interim will but used a Bookshelf speakers.

It got me thinking about how different the M3's sound based on the different enclosures you can buy them in (Bookshelf, On / In Wall and Algonquin).

Has there been any discussion or post from Axiom on this?

Thanks
Nathan
Well, I think the goal is to make them all sound as much like the bookshelf version as possible. And I think the party line is that they do. Has your experience been different?
I don't have any A/B comparison I'm able to do. But I presume the "normal" construction MDF Box construction would be the "best" and other formats would have some form of compromise but....?
I think the volume of the enclosure would make a difference, but possibly Only in bass extension. I'm not as sure as you are that the differences, if any, of cabinet resonance between the bookshelf and Algonquin would be perceptible.

Only the folks from Axiom could tell us if the various configurations measure differently, or have meaningful differences in double blind testing.
