Ok, I just figured out a compromise that actually fixes most if not all the compromises I was about to build my room around.
Long story short not counting area behind the screen the new room will be 7.6 x 12.6 x 17.5.
Looking at Sepmeyer's third golden ratio this should work very well.
Once my acoustic panels are up the room will be even closer to the ideals with this ratio.
edit: it will be the PJ and equipment that goes outside the screen room.
