The one really large problem with Axiom speakers is that time between when you decide to pull the trigger and buy, and them getting delivered to your house. In some cases, it can be weeks.
I guess I am not old fashioned, and in the world of seemingly instant gratification, the suspense of knowing what these new speakers are going to sound like is killing me.
So, I am wondering what other Axiom owners did while waiting for that delivery truck to arrive.
it wouldn't be so bad if I had a tracking number so that I knew they were on there way..
The really organized get all their cabling in order, obsessively design the layout of their room and put nose prints on the front window.
Welcome to the wait. It will be worth it.
I'm still waiting for my EP500. Today is the end of business day 14. (Product page says 10 business days, after ordering.) I just go home and beat my head against the wall and drink a beer.
Go and get a hearing test. Then do that again 1 year later.
Get room dimensions measured and calculate where to put your seating location, then mains and surrounds. Math time!
Get some scratch paper and sketch it up with rough measurements. Something to do I guess.
Go to amazon and splurge on material to feed the new system.
Pace a trench into the floor.

did that, and I fear they are worse than here. Ordered 8 CD's (new from 3rd party vendors) and they will take until some time in July to arrive. OUCH. But on average the CD were between $0.03 to $1.25 but with $3.50 shipping. So it comes out cheaper than the local flee market. and they had what i wanted.
So they just need to figure out how to pick the QS8 from the b-list pile... (hint, it's the only one there) and put it into a box. So I'm told maybe they might get around to shipping it tomorrow.
I am glad that they are so busy filling orders that they don't have the staff to answer the phone or email from us customers who have ordered.
I hope I get them by the weekend.
I got an email late last night with a tracking number. It says there are 5 boxes coming my way from the Barry Fedex depot. Guess I might have some fun this morning.
