for those that have the M100's

how far from the wall are your speakers setup ?

my current room is 13 x 17 .... if I build an addition it will be 15 x 23 maybe 17 x 23. I just don't want speakers 5 ft into the room if it is only 17 ft long

It seems that all of the larger floorstanders in that evaluation need to be placed out from the wall to perform properly - it seems to be a characteristic of these beasts so that is what you are stuck with. At least with the M100s, there are supplied Port Plugs that one can use to tighten up the bass if closer to the wall.

The only other option that I see is a good sub or two in an ideal placement to take the pressure off the L & R speakers in the bass department at those higher levels...

I guess that answer my question on M100 ...not happening
5' from side walls and 10' apart
but, I am thinking I wish they did a $1500 - $2500 comparison and the M80HP's were in there.
I think if I upgrade that's where I am going is to the M80HP v5 I know there coming lol
