Hmmm, what does the Yamaha 2400 give you that the 1400 doesn't? If you step down to the 1400, you can up the VP50 to a 100.
I like the audioholics website very much. Their reviews are unbiased and technically informed. If they don't like a unit, even if it bears a high end label, they tell it like it is. The audioholics discussion board is a bit weak, but the website is interesting and frequently updated with new information. I have it book marked as a favorite.
I agree. Definately one of the better audio sites on the web.
