just bought a AUDIO AERO PRIMA INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER ( picture in link below) and a California Audio CD player DX-2. My listening room/ computer room is 10' x13'. 7.5' ceiling height. Is one speaker going to be a better choice than the other in a room of this size. i'll set up speaker along 13' side to give them more room.
also any good interconnects recommended.

Nice to see you finaly dropped anchor on some gear!!! (Wink wink)

Some quality gear too!! You can certainly use this for more than your computer room!
The equipment you have selected will definitely lend many hours of enjoyment. When you choose a turntable, ensure it is of similar quality.

Your question would depend on what is left over from your budget. Your new gear will demand the best possible speaker you can afford. You may have another option, Factory Outlet M40's are less than regular priced M22's and would have better bass response. But that would not be bookshelf based.

See, I told you this would be a fun project...that never ends! (Kinda like renovating a house!!)

i'm actually leaning towards the factory outlet m22's. the reviews i've looked at seem to put the speakers in this order m40, then m3ti, and the best choice out of the three being the m22.
As far as a computer room system, my wife reminded me not to buy a system based simply on that room. i'm in an apartment now and hope to only be here for another year or two. i'm actually saving for a house, but that can wait until i get the system i want!
my budget can allow my to get the m22, and i do not really want to get a cheap, poor quality inteconnect. i 'm figuring i can spend up to $100. i really do not want to degrade the components with bad connections. ( if you can't stay under budget, get a new budget, right!)
i'm going to have to go with basic speaker wire for now though, that's where i'll cut cost for now.

Good for you! Glad to see you have a plan!

Look for the heaviest gauge speaker cable you can afford, hopefully 12gauge minimun. Also look at decent connectors for both ends. Monster cable is fairly common, but if that is out of your price range go for heavy gauge no name brand. Wire can be restrictive to proper sound.

Let us know how it sounds.
