Can anyone recommend stands and mounts for the VP-100? i am putting in a front projection system and and am undecided on whether I am going to try and mount above the screen or stand under the screen.

I used a couple of pieces of aluminum angle to mount my VP-100 over my screen. With the slanted top mounted parallel to the ceiling, the speaker ended up pointed right at my listening position.

It's a matter of aesthetic preference, I think. One benefit of a stand is that the speaker is closer to your ears and fires more directly at them. One benefit of a mount is that there's no risk of accidentally knocking the speaker over. (Pets and/or kids raise this risk significantly.)

The Full Metal Bracket will hold the VP100 easily. It is also very maneuverable so you can point it down or up or striaght ahead to the listening position. You will have to drill a hole in the wall and into the speaker, but it is a very easy procedure and does not damage the speaker if you follow directions. I have one for my rear surround QS8 and it works really well.

My VP150 is sitting on this stand right beneath my 120" screen. Works very well for me, both sonically and aesthetically. The distance between the back of the center channel cabinet and the front wall is about 1.5 ft, providing some "breathing room" for the speaker. To my ears, the VP150 (like many other speakers) sounds best when placed like this, separated from all the surroundings.
