I'm planning on getting the Grand Master or the 40 Home Theater system to go with a Yamaha RX-V1300 (or 1400). Any advice on speaker cables?

Oh, you do not want to go there 'round here.
A common response you will get is, "Just get 12-16 gauge generic cable from Radio Shack, partsexpress.com, Home Depot, etc."
Another response you will get is, "Axiom speaker cables."
Another will be, "Really expensive cables of some variety or another."
Then there will be a 7 page flamewar between the 2-3 camps.
Which I have now precipitated.

Many, many people here will suggest you buy a spool of 12awg copper from your local
Radio Shack.
If you want to get something a step up from that, I recommend the speaker cables from
Heartland Cables They have the best prices on good quality cables.
