Well, i just received my M22s Monday and I am very, very happy with what I am hearing. My problem has to do with my receiver settings for speaker size. Dilemma: I like the way my speakers sound when the receiver setting (Pioneer VSX-D607S)(my next upgrade opportunity) is to "large" for the speakers. But when I have them set to large, there is no output to the sub. When I set the speaker size to "small" on the receiver, I'm not as happy with the sound of the speakers, although I do get the extended bass with the sub. I have tinkered with the settings as I have since I've had this receiver, but it doesn't make sense to me that the subwoofer output would be totally cut when the speakers are set to "large". I hope this wasn't too long-winded!

6, I'm not familiar with your receiver and you haven't described the provisions of your sub, so it's difficult to make suggestions. Most receivers have a provision for using both the mains and sub simultaneously(called "both", "plus" etc.). Although I generally use my M22s without a sub, experimenting in a different setup showed excellent results with the M22s "small" and the crossover 80Hz. Possibly your receiver crossover on "small" is too high, but I'm just guessing.
